In order to make this program available for public use, funds must be obtained to help with research, development and coding of the software. The grant proposal attached below was submitted to the National Endowment for the Humanities, which unfortunately did not reply to our request. Due to this lack of funds, the completion and launching of uScript has slowed indefinitely. Nevertheless, more funding options are continuously being explored. It would be in the best interests of the program to have as many public and private options as possible, in order to have the best chance of obtaining the necessary funds to launch the program. One such public funding option is Google Summer of Code, a grant awarded to open-source programs; except that, although uScript is intended to be open-source, it is not yet ready to be put online. Many other funding opportunities are being researched and hopefully soon uScript will have the funds to be completed and launched.
Here are two other grant options!
